🎀 Yonsei Application Documents

-  Yonsei's application was completely online, so it was relatively easy to do!

-  Make sure the documents are jpg or pdf files, with the exception of the Study Plan, which can be a pdf or Word doc.

  • Official E-transcript

    • Order one here

    • Send it to yourself and it will be processed on the same day.

  • ID Photo

    • 4.5 cm x 3.5 cm

    • Follow the requirements provided - neutral expression, ears showing, white background, proper cropping, etc. ​

  • ​Copy of Passport

    • ​The passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the beginning of the semester.

  • Proof of Funding

    • Under the student’s name, otherwise if it's under a parent’s name, a document must be attached to verify the relationship (i.e. birth certificate)

    • ​The balance must be at least 4,000 USD for one-semester exchange or 10,000 USD for one-year exchange

    • Document must be issued within 30 days from the date of application submission.

  • Health Insurance

    • You may skip this for now and submit later. The deadline was January 15 for spring admission and July 15 for fall admission.

    • You can submit your own health insurance document, otherwise, MIX will provide an insurance document for the study abroad insurance that you can submit.

      • If there are any issues regarding receiving this, you can email Yonsei in advance and they will allow you to submit it past the deadline.

  • Study Plan

    • A Word document will be provided with four short answer questions about your purpose, major, self-introduction, and educational background.
